Accessibility
We want every family, student, volunteer, and partner to be able to use this website. Here is where we stand and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
LAST UPDATED · AUGUST 2026
Martina's Outreach is committed to making our website and programs usable by people of all abilities. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our working standard.
What we have implemented
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading per page and a main landmark.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, with decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and forms.
- Form labels, required-field indication, and inline error messages.
- Color combinations chosen for readable contrast, with information never conveyed by color alone.
- Responsive layouts that work at mobile sizes and when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
- Our donation form is embedded from Zeffy, a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control. If it is difficult to use, contact us and we will take your donation another way.
- This site has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we describe it as a work in progress rather than as certified conformant.
